The Cafe

The Pottery Cafe

History isn’t just displayed behind glass, it is served right to your table.

Guests are invited to sit back and experience authentic West Country hospitality with a truly unique twist, as your tea and toast are served using authentic, antique Watcombe teapots and toast holders.  Renowned for over a century for their exceptional heat retention and rich red clay charm, these vintage pieces allow you to handle genuine South Devon craftsmanship while enjoying a piping hot brew, fresh artisan toast, and local preserves.

It is the perfect, immersive pause during your museum visit, offering a memorable taste of local heritage in every cup.

For non-tea drinkers

From rich, velvety lattes and frothy cappuccinos to your favourite morning classics, we source the finest beans and freshly grind them to order, ensuring every cup is packed with flavour.
