 Established in Torquay in 1869 following the discovery of fine local red terracotta clay, Watcombe Pottery pioneered the region's famous ceramic industry and produced everything from classical Victorian art wares to popular tourist mottowares for nearly a century. 

 Based near Newton Abbot and deeply rooted in the Arts and Crafts movement under the visionary leadership of John Phillips, Aller Vale Pottery became renowned for its highly decorative, slip-painted art ceramics.

 Operating in Torquay from the early 1880s, this firm gained prominence through hand-painted floral motifs, distinct avian designs, and widespread production of regional motto-inscribed souvenirs. 

 Based in North Devon, this workshop championed expressive sgraffito and slip-carved techniques, creating intricate marine inspired art pieces, dragons, and glazed earthenware that gained international recognition. 

 Known for vibrant glazes and playful mid-century novelty items, this maker became a fixture of post war souvenir markets through animal figurines and stylized novelty jugs. 

 Situated near Dartmoor, this studio specialized in hand-decorated character items, regional literary figures, and miniature ceramic architectural pieces.
